The GT XT follows the design of CAMP’s top-end rope access harnesses with modifications to bring it in line with the most current ANSI standards.
With its dual certification (ANSI + EN), the GT XT satisfies the strict regulatory needs of workers in many parts of the world.
Based on the GT Sit + Chest harnesses, the GT XT was also developed from the findings of CAMP’s “SOSPESI” research program which gave them new insights on suspension trauma. The innovative connection between the waist belt and leg loops makes the sit harness comfortable both during suspension and on the ground. The padding uses variable thicknesses and stiffness to provide the right amount of support and comfort for every part of the body. Ventral attachment features two loops: the upper loop is for attaching a chest harness and chest ascender and the lower loop holds the ventral D-ring for attaching lanyards and rope tools. Supplied with a 3Lock steel carabiner with removable anti-rotation pin. Equipped with a keeper strap for securing a chest ascender in a streamlined way. ANSI STS automatic buckles on the leg loops.
The DownRigger is an aerial friction device, used for lowering limbs quickly and efficiently. With its light weight and compact size, it can be connected and operated overhead, or at the base of the rigging system.
The DownRigger applies friction to the rigging line when weighted by the load, allowing the operator to control the descent by hand. Unweighted, the line pulls easily back through the device to reset the system. The DownRigger features the well-known Rock Exotica swivel top that allows for easy alignment with the load, and the double-locking side plate that makes rope installation more efficient.
The new Swinger is the first harness tool carrier to have a dual-action swinging gate, so you can clip and unclip tools easier and faster than ever- one handed. Keep your gear secure with a simple twist-to-lock to keep the gate closed. The Swinger has clean lines and a low-profile nose to reduce snagging.
