The Hitch Climber Eccentric is an evolution of the classic Triple Attachment Pulley that became widely known as the ‘Hitch Climber’. The design improvements are the result of over a decade of Hitch Climber design and manufacturing expertise, together with feedback from climbers.
The new geometry offers greater efficiency combined with a striking aesthetic. The ‘pushing plates’ will advance your friction hitch earlier and the optimised fairlead flares direct rope towards the sheave when tending slack.
Also features a large sheave with an efficient roller bearing and a stainless steel axle. Patent pending.
An evolution of the Triple Attachment Pulley first brought to the market 10 years ago by DMM.
The hot forged swing-cheek pulley with an in-built three hole rigging plate allows creative configurations and enables direct connection to textile components to save on weight and complication. The Rigger Pulleys feature a new axle construction achieved by using highly accurate CNC operations, which produces a stronger axle/side plate interface for increased longevity.
Bolstered connection areas lead to high configured strengths. The newly developed side plates combined with the axle construction means a hugely increased MBS to 40kN. The side plates boast increased fairleads and tuned angles for more efficient prusik minding.
The Rigger Pulley comes in two versions; the Rigger and the Rigger Becket. Both feature high efficiency roller bearings.
Integrated rollers deliver incomparable efficiency during climbing and low wear-and-tear on both the rope and on the ascender itself. Can be used in two different modes with the flick of a switch: free the cam to allow for immediate insertion and removal or lock the cam to prevent the possibility of accidental releases. The fastening straps adapt to any type of boot with auto-locking buckles for fast and secure adjustment. Mud and dirt can exit through special holes in the cam to help prevent build-up.

This 1/2″ (13mm) Atlas double braid rigging line is the workhorse of the Sterling arbor rigging lines. Sterling redesigned this double-braid construction with a polyester sheath and nylon core construction that provides a huge increase in overall strength, while lowering the static elongation. Atlas resists picking and protects the nylon core without sacrificing handling due to a tightly woven polyester sheath. The Atlas double braid rigging line works great with a capstan winch, port a wrap, or rigging blocks.
