The Akimbo² is the second iteration of the popular mid-line-attachable climbing device for tree care. Like the original, the Akimbo² allows you to position, ascend and descend in stationary or moving rope systems (SRS or MRS) without additional equipment or detaching from your saddle.
Adjustable friction settings optimize performance on ropes ranging from 11.5 mm to 12.7 mm, all without tools and without an approved ropes list. The REECOIL Full-Reach chainsaw lanyard has been designed to give you full mobility while climbing and cutting.
When extended the Full Reach lanyard stretches further than other tool lanyards but still recoils as short, if not shorter than others.
Developed as a hard-wearing, high strength tool lanyard for climbing/top-handle chainsaws.
It has also been designed to give you two ways of attaching to your chainsaw.
Attach to the rear DRing on the back of your chainsaw with a girth hitch and use the extra sewn loop to bring the hang carabiner as close to your chainsaw as possible. This makes your saw sit high on the back of your harness.
