The KAA is a prefabricated haul system for tensioning systems or lifting people during rescues. In addition, as the KAA is certified to EN 354, it can be used for workplace stabilization, as a restraint system (open/closed), and for controlled lowering. Its strap-based construction makes it the most compact and lightweight system on the market. Depending on the positioning, it offers a 4:1 or 5:1 lifting ratio with an efficiency of 91 %. The KAA is packaged compactly but ready for immediate use, so that no valuable time is lost when it is required. A swivel is provided at each end to prevent the system from twisting. The hand lever on the draw cord makes it easier to pull and can also be used as a lowering lever.
Ultralight, compact swivel for connecting PPE elements
With no unnecessary loose parts that can get lost, the ability to be opened and closed as often as users desire, and a design that makes it the lightest and most compact swivel in its class, the CUPID SWIVEL is a dream come true for any PPE system! The innovative integrated mechanical screw locking system enables the device to be repeatedly opened and closed without having to replace or manually secure screws, and reliably prevents the screw from opening of its own accord due to vibrations. The combination of a 12 mm opening width and the outward opening direction of the gate makes it easy to install rope terminals, slings, and metal components.
The 12mm Boa HMS can be used for many applications where a large gate opening or high internal volume are required. The smooth rounded internal form is very useful when rotating the carabiner through attachment eyes, and the basket curves nicely to allow central hanging of loaded components.
HMS connectors are pear shaped and often have similar characteristics to ovals in how they deal with loaded components, i.e. they also allow devices and connectors to self-center. Moreover, the extended basket allows for additional component connection. Knots in a system such as an Italian hitch can rotate easily between taking in and paying out (even with larger diameter ropes). In general, HMS connectors are slightly oversized to accommodate the added volume of bigger ropes and to feel secure in a gloved hand.
